Patrol Update – Acton Hill & Town Centre

Today I conducted patrols across Acton Hill and the Town Centre in response to increased concerns raised by the community. It was encouraging to be acknowledged by members of the public — being waved at and thanked is a reminder that our presence is both noticed and appreciated.

During the patrol, I arrested a male on The Mount outside Morrisons. He was shouting, swearing, and subsequently assaulted a police officer. Appropriate action was taken.

This patrol was part of our continued efforts to provide visible reassurance and address ongoing issues in the area.

Also it would help us greatly if you focus contact with your team through this app rather than email. We are using this more and more and the email is not looked at as often as a consequence
